Today, our daughter celebrates her 43rd birthday.

It seems impossible that those many years have gone by.

She was born on a Friday 13th, and besides being Mother’s Day weekend, that usually ominous date was a lucky day for us indeed.

My feature photo is from an old one that needed repair. I used both Adobe Lightroom and Touch/Retouch for the necessary edits.

Here’s the original:

I then used chatGPT to create a card to send to her this morning.

All I had to do was enter a photo of her, list the characteristics I wanted included, and request a birthday card with graphics only.

Once again, in less than two minutes, the app came through with exactly what I had hoped for.

    I used ChatGPT to look up the next time my wife’s Birthday falls on Easter… April 13, 2031.

    What does ChatGPT think a good wife birthday present for Easter 2031???

      That’s a great response, Chuckster. I find that the app gives some very good gift suggestions – especially when personality traits of the recipient are included in the query.

    Fantastic photographs Terry! Did you make the birthday cake? That’s two round iced birthday cakes I have seen in my WP feed today. I love an iced cake, particularly square ones to nab the corner pieces.

      Thank you, Lana! Although I made many 3D cakes for our daughter when she was small, I can’t take credit for this one. The local restaurant in our little town provided birthday celebrations inclusive of a kid friendly meal, a cake, and a waitress dressed up like a clown. I thought I’d give it a go on that particular year. It was nice not to have to plan the entertainment and not have the cleanup afterwards.
