Our daughter wasn’t raised on a farm but loves everything about farm life. Her happiest days are when the new chicks arrive.

They’re a lot of work for our daughter, Carole, but she loves every second of it. Some folks are suited to it … me, not so much

I meant raising chicks, lol … and at my age, I believe that applies to humans too 😂

Awww, so cute. My late late grandmother raised chickens and sold the eggs on her farm. At one time she roughly counted over 500, and then the little ones came along. My cousins and I spent many and hour playing with them, and when they grew up, they became supper. We ate so much chicken it took me years to make myself eat it again. She had an old broken down upright piano in her barn and one speckled hen would walk across the keyboard as if she knew what song she was playing. Sounded a bit like Chopin or maybe Liberace.
