I love seeing all of the flowers on my morning walks here in South Texas.
Not only are there many species that aren’t seen at our home in Canada, but to see flowers of any kind blooming in November is a treat.
The flower in my feature photo is Golden Arrow – a subtype in the Plumeria family.
The soft white blossoms against the deep green foliage is a striking contrast that catches my attention each time I walk past this shrub.
Photo Note: In the original photo, I hadn’t set my exposure dark enough so the green foliage was a bit washed out in the morning sun. This was a simple fix in Snapseed, using the Vignette tool to darken the outer edges and lighten the blossoms
“You’re only here for a short visit. Don’t hurry, don’t worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way.”
Walter Hagen
Very pretty little flowers in Texas! We are finally getting some much needed moisture here on the prairie (snow) I’m so happy you made it to a warmer climate with lovely flowers still in bloom 😍

Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Nadine! I sure don’t miss the snow, but am happy it’s providing needed moisture 😊 Our daytime highs here are sitting between the high 20’s and low 30’s Celsius. Perfect temps for this Canuck who hates the cold 😉 Have a great day!

I’m happy you enjoyed the flowers, Betty. They smell heavenly. You certainly do like yellow, don’t you? I’ll try to find some yellow ones I haven’t posted about before. I should be able to get back to regular posts by next week sometime. Have a great evening!
