Home Grown

This mural, on the side of a roadside service station in Saskatchewan, Canada – although weathered, depicts some history of the pioneers and farming in our province.

It is fascinating to dig into history of where we live. I really should.

I can almost imagine, Carole. Europe is so much older than we are in terms of recorded history. I sure hope we can visit someday. I think I’d go wild photographing the architecture alone. Have a fab evening!

I think learning history in little bits is a great way to learn it. Nice mural!

That’s true enough, Betty. History, because there’s so much of it, can be overwhelming when too much comes at us at once. I’m happy you enjoyed the mural. Have a fab day!

Nice, and I love those plants at the base of it. They make the mural look 3 dimensional. 😊
