This mural, also in the Cathedral Area of our Capital City, possibly speaks to times long ago (when folks still dried their laundry on a clothes line).
There were some distracting elements in the original photo, which I removed by cropping and by using the clean up tool in the native photos app on my phone.
Despite removing some of the bottom designs, I think the cleanup tool did an ok job.
They sure do and so, I can’t take any credit for the edits, Charla as it was all in the apps. If I’d had more time, I’d have used the clone tool in Touch/Retouch to fix the wall a bit more. Have a great day!

My mother used a clothes line to dry in the summer. During the winter, we wore damp clothing because no one had a dryer back then. I used her line as the first zip line in the neighborhood and you guessed it..a butt busting with the Tupperware pan, but it was fun while it lasted. You haven’t lived the life until you put on a pair of jeans that have been drying in 30-degree weather, Yikes!
that is a nifty cleanup tool you have on your phone. Great the way it removed the bins which ere against the wall. I should get one for my phone. I’ve lost count of the times I have my feet or a finger in the picture.

I always peg our washing out on the line but if you live in an apartment that is not possible.
The tool is a part of my phone. There’s a good app called Touch Retouch that does a pretty good job too, Carole. I’m thinking it’s more common to hang clothes outside in Europe than it is here. It makes no difference here whether you live in an apartment or in a house … not very many clothes are hung outside. Clothes that say “hang to dry” get put over a hanger and hung on the bathroom shower curtain rod. Rest well tonight!
