To the naked eye, the tops of most mushrooms look smooth.

A macro lens says otherwise.

As with many things (and people) … we need to look closely and beyond the surface if we want to see what’s really there, don’t we?

    Momo cooks her big mushrooms into submission, and then, being squishy, I won’t eat them. Back in the day, I ate a wild mushroom thinking it was safe. It wasn’t, and I was in Nirvana for a few days. I have some growing under my Chaste trees, I’ll let the Rabbits have them.

      I’ve tried wild mushrooms only once, but at the time had a relative with me who knew which ones were safe and which ones weren’t. Have a fab day, Phil!
