🎶Gee It’s Good to be Back Home Again🎶

This past week, we were away for a few days, visiting friends and family in the place we called home for over 20 years.

Whenever we round the curve in my feature photo, I breathe a big sigh of relief and have the same sense of “home” that I had when we first moved to the area.

Even though I was raised on the southern prairies, I’m sure it was the proximity to the northern tree line that welcomed and comforted me.

Wow. This post is EVERYTHING! My husband and I talk about moving away from our home state and he wants to go to Hawaii, LOL! I wanna go just a few states down, for exactly this. I want to be able to drive HOME. If I want to. Thanks for moving me once again, friend!

It is funny how we know where we belong. I was only three when we moved to Saskatchewan but I always love going back to Manitoba.

    sense of “home”

is an interesting concept. I often ask myself ‘where is home?’

I did too, Carole … Until, as I said, the first time I drove to this area for a job interview. Then, the sense of “home” was overwhelming.

We sure did, Betty! We hadn’t seen our daughter and her family since last summer and the friends we visited, we hadn’t seen for years. It was a very special time.
