When I was studying iPhone landscape photography, one lesson suggested that when you’re focusing on something ahead of you to shoot, always turn around and take a look behind you.
When I remember to do this, Im often met with a pleasant surprise.
On a recent evening power walk, my focus was on the light the setting sun was casting on the path ahead of me. When I turned around, there was this single cloud in the eastern sky, beautifully painted by the sunset.
“Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways. ”
Oscar Wilde
What a clever tip! And a very beautiful capture! Love the perspective line of the fence posts, too.
