Alongside one of my walking trails, there’s a rusted old metal gateway that leads to a pond.

On the other side of the pond, there’s a new housing development.

On my first walk of the week, I noticed this framing possibility but was unhappy with my attempts. I walked the same trail yesterday to take a bit more time composing the shot and this is the result.

I’m still not 100% certain I’m happy with the composition. Now that I’ve seen the potential for some nice shots, I know I’ll stop to try a different angle every time I walk that particular trail.
