Thank you, Edward. It could very well be as you say. I don’t know if all of the iconic stops give passport stamps. We’ve been to several of the roadside attractions over the years, but have never had a passport book. This one, I just spotted on the way by, so had to catch a quick photo.

NM has so much to offer, Lenore. We loved every second we spent there and saw more than we ever imagined we would in terms of history and landscapes.

We love New Mexico, usually go twice a year to Ruidoso for the horse races and to relax. the floods ruined the track, and most of the cabins in the upper canyon burned down so we haven’t been in two years. We are heading to South Dakota next month to see Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer Park and the bison roundup and all that other stuff, and it will be cool, thank God, no more 108 which is what it will be today. I’ve been on parts of the old Route 66 which turns into I-40 in Amarillo.

We loved New Mexico too, Phil, and zig-zagged across almost the whole state that year. The horse races sound fun. Sorry to hear about the issues it’s suffered. You’ll enjoy South Dakota. Lots to see and do there.

It was a very good year for us, because on the way home from Texas, we toured all over New Mexico. It was the only mainland state we hadn’t seen, so was definitely a bucket list hit and we hit it good! Have a great day, Bernie!
