    Ha! The Red Dog Saloon is the perfect home for a sign like this — sawdust on the floor and cheerful low expectations all around. We ducked in there on an Alaska port stop and the whole place runs on exactly that kind of self-deprecating humour. ‘Lower your standards’ might be the most honest hospitality slogan I’ve ever read. Thanks for the laugh to start the day!
