    I have often seen those made spools made out of wood. In fact, they used to be sold and people would turn them sideways and use for outdoor tables. 🙂

      These spools would be way too tall for tables, Charla. I’d guess that each one if set flat, would easily be over 5 ft tall.

        That is really neat! I can’t even imagine how much each would weight with the cables / wires wrapped around.

      Thanks, Betty! We have a wire and cable plant here. These are spools for large industrial cables.
