When in Texas …

From our first taste in 2019, hubs and I became seriously attached to Blue Bell ice cream.

Made in Texas, this brand is the next best thing to home made ice cream and we love that every year, new flavours are added to the line.

Yes, I’ve learned via the comments that Blue Bell is now spread across the south. It’s a great product for sure, Neal. Have a fab day!

It’s as much a part of Texas as Lone Star Beer and BBQ. New flavors every season, I like ’em all except that Pumpkin spice mess.

I’ve only had one new flavour that I didn’t care for, Phil. I can’t remember what that was but it’s since been discontinued, so obviously others thought the same. And yes, Blue Bell ice cream is very much a big part of Texas! Have a great evening, my friend!

Haven’t had it in years, but in the past, whenever I had a speaking date in Texas, I’d make sure to indulge in a pint of Blue Bell!

I love local ice cream. I also like Blue Bell, and we have a local one called Whitey’s, which is really good.

Franc would love that! I thought of you when I was in London this week as someone had drawn quite an arty cowboy hat on a bin and written “Texas” above it. No doubt some proud Texan leaving their mark, albeit vandalism 🙂

I sure don’t like vandalism at any time or anywhere, Lana. Thanks for thinking of me though. 😊

I have never eaten Pecan Pie – to my recollection. It always looked too sweet to me. However, I do like pecans, so I might like this ice cream. I do love ice cream, but I find it hard to choose something other than my favorite. Mint Chocolate Chip! I didn’t realize Blue Blue was made in Texas! Makes sense with all the cows here! 🙂 Have a good day, Terry!

I like pecan pie as a treat every now and then. As you said, it’s very sweet though. This ice cream doesn’t have the sweetness of the pie, but it has lots of pecans and is very tasty. Blue Bell is expensive compared to other brands, Betty and we don’t mind paying the extra because it’s just that good! I hope you have a good day too.
