Every once in a while, I have a strong craving for ice cream. It has to be three scoops of a good vanilla, topped with whatever my mood suggests, and no, I don’t feel a drop of guilt when I indulge.

Momo loves ice cream, but I don’t as much. My ice cream trauma goes back to the Good Humor man and his truck: popsicles at 40 below zero, thanks to dried ice. Kids on a hot summer day running home with a piece of frozen sugar stuck to their lip, screaming, and when mom ripped it off, a large piece of lip skin came with it. HEB has some great ice cream called Creamy Creations that don’t stick to your lip. That picture sure looks good.

That’s cold alright, Phil! I’ve heard that HEB has a good ice cream line. We enjoy the Blue Bell ice cream when we’re in Texas.
