2016 – Cactus and Copper

As a part of our 2016 mission to explore Arizona more fully than on previous trips there, we visited Bisbee – once a thriving mining town, and now a tourist destination with a fascinating history.

Cool! I did the tour back in 2012 while attending an Army course at Fort Huachuca, but I donโ€™t think I saw the Lavender Pit Mine, or maybe I did and just canโ€™t recall. Great photos, Terry.

I’ve seen a similar Cactus with iron in Marfa. Of course, all things Cactus is my thing, you know. Historic Bisbee looks like my kind of town, I dig those old west buildings and history. Great post.
