For the past couple of days, my outdoor walks have been on hold because winds carrying forest fire smoke from hundreds of miles away have created air quality issues here.
That brownish yellow sky isn’t normal here, thank goodness.

Thanks for thinking of us, Charla. We’re hundreds of miles away from the actual fires and this is the time of year they typically start … it’s been this way for as long as I can remember

Terry, my brother who lives in DeSoto, MO texted me a picture of the lake behind his house. There was definitely a haze over the sunset. He said it was from the Canadian wildfires. I checked online, and the smoke from the fires is reaching the Midwest! Hopefully, this year won’t be too bad. Stay safe!
