A Garden Gift for an Old Fashioned Dessert

Each year at this time, we’re gifted freshly picked rhubarb from folks we know.

I chopped it up and made a fave dessert from our childhood.

I love rhubarb, we have it growing in the garden. You can’t beat rhubarb crumble with natural yoghurt for breakfast. Delicious

I also love it warm with cream over it for breakfast. I hadn’t thought of yoghurt, so thanks for sharing that idea!

I don’t eat cream so yoghurt is my go to x

Your photos of the rhubarb and the dessert are really great. And I don’t even like rhubarb. HAHA I like how you layered it on the plate and took the picture.

To the best of my knowledge, I’ve never eaten rhubarb. Your Rhubarb Crisp looks delicious!

It’s delish, Betty! Even if the rhubarb is a little tart, the ice cream sweetens it up just enough… sort of how it helps an apple pie made with Granny Smith apples. Thanks for stopping by, Betty … I’m always wondering about how you’re making out on the road. When you comment, my worries are settled 😊
