Well done! My mother has always knitted but I have no clue/patience.

Thanks, Lana! I learned knitting and crochet over 45 years ago, Lana. My mom did both as well, but was unable to teach me (or I was unable to learn from her), because she’s right handed and I’m very predominately left handed. I finally learned from someone else how to knit right handed, but I learned left handed crochet from a book!

Good luck! I enjoy being creative in various ways. Hubs will enjoy that lap blanket!

Thanks, Betty! I don’t crochet nearly as quickly as I once did, but am enjoying. It’s a relaxing pastime because all I have to do is count and repeat (and pay attention to avoid mistakes, lol)

I am sure he will appreciate that! Dan is still getting up in the thick heavy housecoat I bought him last fall. 😁

Hubs had one of those heavy housecoats that I gifted him for Christmas several years ago. He wore it once πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I ordered Dan a side 2-3x. I think the sent a size 23. It is huge and has a full hood. The first time he put it on it swallowed him whole. I had to shorten the hem a foot and sleeves a good six inches. But he is so cold since going on blood thinners, that he loves it! He lived in it all winter – he wanted to wear it to the dogpark. 🀦
