I planned my power walk yesterday morning so I could arrive a this playground on the edge of town just as the sun was breaking over the horizon.
From my home at city centre to this playground on the east edge of town is 3K, (1.86 miles) so I decided to power walk that distance before stopping. It’s a good thing I did, because I made it there just in time for the sunrise.
I’m learning about layering to create depth in landscape photography. It’s not always easy to find things on the flat prairie to achieve this. Overall, I’m pleased with how this turned out.

You too Terry!
I also wanted to mention that the geometric shapes in your layering picture was amazing! I loved the curving contours in the foreground!

Love the colors in the sky. The layering is interesting, too. I am not really a photographer (I would rather focus on my writing), so I am glad to learn of the technique – if only for my occasional blog photos. Glad you made it there in time!
