Sometimes, on my early morning walks, I play around a bit with the rising sun, trying to capture it in natural frames.

In this shot, I like how the sun flare illuminates the evergreen tree branches that frame it. This was completely unexpected and unplanned. All I was going for was the frame, so the soft glow on the tree branches was a nice surprise when I opened the photo after arriving home.

Even though I wasn’t deliberately practicing layering in this shot, a bit of that happened as well, so that was another bonus.

“Life. This morning the sun made me adore it. It had, behind the dripping pine trees, the oriental brightness, orange and crimson, of a living being, a rose and an apple, in the physical and ideal fusion of a true and daily paradise.”
