Sometimes, on my sunrise power walks, something off the path catches my eye as I pass.

This old split post with the chain attached had obviously been hidden in the trees beside the river for a long time. I didn’t notice it until the morning sun hit it just right.

This made me think of the many things or even people in our lives that we take for granted or don’t notice until the time is just right or until the perfect light opens our eyes.
