Dec 07, 2023 – Ceremony at The Alamo in San Antonio, TX for the reading and loan of David Crockett’s last letter from Tennessee. Davey Crockett, aka “King of the wild frontier”, died in the battle of the Alamo.

Sedum Morganianum, AKA Donkey Tail, or Burro’s Tail.
Although the equine names are far easier to pronounce, the botanical name seems more likely as I’ve never seen a donkey/burro with a tail that looks like this.
Have you?

My favourite meal out is this breakfast – especially when the over-easy eggs, the slightly crispy bacon, the brown toast, and the hash browns are cooked to perfection!
Do you have a fave restaurant meal?

The Regina Floral Conservatory is a hidden gem in our province’s Queen City.
This is one of many Peace Lilies housed there.
I thank you for your patience as I work on getting everything operational on my new blog theme …

For some time now, I’ve been searching for a way to change my blog posts.
Many different iterations have consistently resulted in a similar format.
Moving forward – at least for now, I’m going to move to photos only posts.
I have a strong feeling that I’ve been sharing far too much personal info in my posts.
From today onward, I’ll just share some of my fave photos with limited commentary by me.
As time permits, I’ll continue to read and comment on the bloggers that I follow.
I hope this change will be received well by my followers.
