Like hubs, our neighbour here in South Texas has Norwegian heritage.

The day that we made Lefse, she stopped by to see how our recipe differed from hers.

Yesterday, she stopped by with a gift of several Kringla cookies that she always bakes to perfection.

We’re so very blessed to spend our winters in a diverse, loving, and caring 50+ community.

    Through my work l was blessed to work with a very diverse group of people. I have high personal testimony of the richness that diversity may enhance one’s life. Food is probably the most outward manifestation of that richness, but there are so many other types of blessings one may perceive. Music, dance, conversation, skills to name just a few.

      Our park is about the size of a small Saskatchewan town, Anne. That’s one of the many reasons we chose it. You get to know almost everyone and we all look out for each other. 😊
