We’ve been stopping in Llano, TX every year on our way south since 2019.

I found the subject for my feature photo during a walkabout on our first visit there.

    We kept seeing the signs for Llano when we were in the Stonewall area, but we never did make a trip there. I do like the colorful mural.

      Llano is a unique town, Betty. They have a meat market there that can’t be beat. You even get to sample many of the products before you buy. There’s also a BBQ place that’s known for miles around. There are great old buildings and lots of places to stop and “set a spell” in the downtown area. My friend there used to work for the chamber of commerce, so she’s a wonderful tour guide.
