One of our city planters has been done completely with a variety of colours of Verbena.
The entire thing is very showy. I considered taking a photo of the whole display, but when I attached the macro lens to my phone to see what it would pick up, I got so caught up in trying different macro angles that I completely forgot about the “big picture”. Each individual flower was no bigger than my small fingernail and tiny flowers are my favourite macro subjects. I guess you could say that I fell into a rabbit hole of sorts.
The morning dew on the blossoms wasn’t visible to the naked eye so I was pleased that the lens picked it up.
Photo Note: I did a little editing with the details tool in Snapseed because the dew drops in the original weren’t as crisp as I like them to be.

Beautiful capture! I love macro photography. It is hard to imagine how small this flower is. To me, dew drops on a flower are like jewelry. It’s like it’s their bling!

Thank you, Betty! I like your “bling” analogy. Enjoy the rest of your day!
