On a recent morning walk, I stopped to use my macro lens for a few shots.
I’m always thrilled at the detail this little Moment macro lens for iPhone picks up. It’s like putting things under a microscope.
There’s a bit of a learning curve in using it, and I need to spend more time with tutorials and practice. For now, though, considering my limited skill set with this lens, I’m satisfied with what I’ve been getting.
My feature photo is of the end of a single dandelion parachute (known as the pappus). All I was hoping to catch were details of the parachute. The dew drops were not visible to the naked eye, so it was completely unexpected and so exciting to see them in the photo.
For post processing of the photo, all I did was crop it to optimum size for a WordPress feature photo. Otherwise, this one is “as shot”.
Isn’t nature spectacular?
“Let your life lightly dance on the edges of time like dew on the tip of a leaf.

Yes, that is amazing. The pappus looks as if it is adorned by jewels in this shot. I look forward to more macro shots!
