When it’s cool overnight here with a warm front moving in, the river looks as though it’s steaming with the mist that rises from it.

All of the elements of nature on these recent mornings are combining to offer up so much added enjoyment to my power walks.
Today, we’re heading to our capital city. It’s about an hour and a half drive from here. Usually we go there a couple times a month. The gas prices here in Canada have been so prohibitive that this will be our first trip there since we arrived home from Texas at the beginning of April.
Are the current fuel prices where you are affecting your usual travel habits?
“I love the water. Everything about it. Smelling the humidity in the air, seeing the mist rise in the morning, feeling the dew-wet grass on my bare feet. I love watching the fish jump and the geese land.Lori Foster
