There were a few people out walking and running in the dense fog here this morning.
I had a difficult time keeping up my normal pace and I had to cut my distance in half. Heavy fog is always much too moist for my lungs for power walking, so I slowed my pace and stopped to take some photos along the way.

The man in my feature photo is a jogger and on every street that we met each other, he maintained his jogging pace, and he was still circling the park long after I gave up. I guess our individual physical make-ups impact how we react to different weather conditions.
“The trouble with jogging is that, by the time you realize you’re not in shape for it, it’s too far to walk back”
Franklin P. Jones
The pictures capture the eerie fog quite well. Regarding the quote – I would not have any trouble walking back from the location to where I jogged. It would not be far at all! I am not a jogger or runner.

Thanks for your compliment on the photos, Betty. I like your take on the quote. I don’t jog or run either due to old lower back injuries. Even if I didn’t have those issues, I’m pretty certain I still wouldn’t choose that form of exercise. As always, I love your humour. Have a great Friday evening!
