Our RV park has many opportunities for seniors to stay physically fit and active.
The list of physical activities includes water volleyball, line dancing, square dancing, Tai Chi, bicycle club, golf, daily “Sweating to the Oldies” with Richard Simmons, and water aerobics. Im sure I’ve missed some, as the list is extensive.
In addition, there’s horseshoes, shuffleboard, pickle ball, and billiards (court area shown at sunrise in my feature photo). Our lot is just beyond the court area – only a few steps from all of the action. As the old saying goes, “Location, location, location” – At least hubs would tell you that, as he’s not as fond of walking as I am.
I meet many power walkers and joggers on my morning walks, and when the pool isn’t busy with group activities, there are folks there swimming laps.
So, all in all, we have a vibrant, physically active community. This was a big part of the attraction for me and was one of the many things that drew me back.
Very good

It sounds like a wonderful place to be during the winter! Having all those choices and variety keeps it interesting! I also think being around others who are active is encouraging to be the same way. Enjoy!

It’s really the ideal place for us, Betty, and you’re right – it’s very motivating to see so many folks (lots of them quite a bit older than us) keeping active. Enjoy your Saturday!
