Today’s post is a bit of a departure from my recent blogs.
I decided to update those of my followers who may (or may not) be interested in how things have been going with my power walking.
I took a couple of weeks off because of a little knee issue. That has resolved itself with rest, and I started back this morning with the 6K (3.7 miles) I like to do at sunrise.
Our RV park is small enough that 2.5 times up and down every street gives me my 6K. The streets are all paved, which makes for a good walking surface. We’re in a gated park, so I feel very safe walking before and during sunrise.
My feature photo is of one of the streets here in our park this morning. Although it looked like it was going to be a cloudy day, I’m happy to report that the sun is now shining, it’s warm outside, and my walk has invigorated me for the day. I was sure missing the energy boost my morning walks always give me.
Sunrise walks are probably the best kind of walks!
