Eighteen Wheels of Freedom
This excellent and accurate post about what’s currently happening in Canada was written by my fellow Canadian, Nadine. Nadine is a writer and poet who lives in my neighbouring Canadian province. I didn’t know her before I started following her blog. When she started following my blog some time ago, I checked out her blog and became intrigued with her poetry and short stories.

I’ve been away from posting to my own blog because I’ve been intently following the Freedom Convoy and rally. The Convoy now has international support, and countries around the world are following suit.

Terry, thank you for sharing. Dan and I watch the local and then the national news every night. I have only seen one little blurb about this movement. From the report I saw, it was a one time protest blocking the street. To read the extent of it and to know it was (at minimum) ignored by main stream media is disconcerting. I have started following Nadine’s blog.

Thank you for reading and commenting, Betty. Yes, it’s very sad how the media is keeping something this huge so very underplayed. That said, it’s gaining world momentum without them. The USA freedom convoy is heading to DC. The European convoy (from countries all across Europe)is heading to Brussels. It was a fantastic and honest piece, Nadine … something that needed to be shared because it truthfully addressed everything, which mass media has either chosen to ignore, or has chosen to give a negative slant to. Your truth needs to be shared far and wide

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog, Michael. For the most part, my blog is about nature, walking, and our travels in retirement. As a lifelong habit, I tend to lean away from all things political and most things religious, but because inaccurate reporting in mainstream media has always been a bug-bear with me, and because Nadine’s post was clear and truthful, I saw great value in sharing it. I did read your take as well Michael. You have a unique writing style, and you also got your points across. Isn’t it wonderful that blogging allows all of us freedom of expression to a much greater extent than other social media platforms? Have a great day!

Hi Terry
I love nature and walking, as well as getting on my bicycle. I agree about blogging. Other platforms seem to me to be too limited or even confusing. They have their place perhaps, but don’t allow for critical thought in the same way and presentation of the truth, whether in short form or long.
As God made us and the natural world about us, and likes to walk himself believe it or not. He is quite happy that you talk about what you do so well.
He has never been interested in religion, only love, the kindness to strangers, neighbours in general, whoever we come across in our lives.
There are those who wish to corrupt that so we ended up with the so-called religious side to muddy the waters as it were. They do it now re vaccine mandates etc.
Anyway, have a great day yourself, I really ought to try and have a look a other posts of yours. There is so much good other good stuff out there, and too few hours in the day.
