Today, I’m taking a break from posting about our road trip. I’ll resume that thread tomorrow.
This morning, I started my power walk before sunrise and hit this spot at morning golden hour. Sometimes, I just know when I head out, that it’s going to be a 10K day. Today was one of those days.
My distance this morning was 11.12 K (6.9 miles) at an average pace that I was pleased with. The fresh autumn air, along with the spectacular foliage, contributed to my motivation.
“Is not this a true autumn day? Just the still melancholy that I love—that makes life and nature harmonize.”
George Eliot
Sounds like a wonderful start to the day! It’s wonderful to feel so good! Congrats on the 10K!
