The small prairie city of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, is all about tourism.
Visitors can book a city tour in a replica electric streetcar circa 1911 – 1932.
According to web info from Tourism Moose Jaw, The Moose Jaw Trolley Company offers three different one hour themed tours. These include a historical daytime tour which is full of stories of the people and places that have made Moose Jaw notoriously awesome, an evening ghost tour that offers “mostly” true tales of spirits, supernatural occurrences and down right inexplicable situations, and a true crime tour that tells the true stories of Moose Jaw’s most notorious residents from settlers and thieves, to doctors and lawyers.
We didn’t do any of these tours this trip, but plan to do them all . We live only 1.5 hours from Moose Jaw, so it’s easy to plan different experiences for each visit.

I can’t decide whether I like the original colour version of my photo or the black/white rendering I chose for the feature photo. For historical photos, I sometimes prefer the black and white, but when my post is about tourism, perhaps the colour photo gives a better idea.

I would choose the historical tour. I don’t want to hear creepy crime stories or stories about ghosts which I think are a bunch of hooey. 🙂 However, I look forward to reading your posts about each of the experiences. Both trolley pictures are nice, but I do like the color version. Looks happier to me. Oh my! I am very opinionated today! You are making want to visit Moose Jaw. Pretty far though! Have a good day!
