Yesterday, I decided to forego my morning power walk for a stroll before and during sunset.
The change of pace wasn’t easy. After almost three years of power walking, I’m so accustomed to walking fast that I had to consciously keep telling myself to slow down.
In terms of the scenery, the difference in the air, and of my mind frame, it felt good to change things up a bit.
The glowing light of the soon to be setting sun made for a perfect golden hour.

Beautiful capture! I like how the path leads you (and the eye) to the sunset.
