This is one of my favourite spots to photograph in our small prairie city. Those of you have been following me for a few years may have seen a variation of this shot in this location.
As the still water reflects the trees and other shoreline features, I stop to calmly reflect on life.
My Dad is still hanging on. He’s having good days and not so good days and sometimes good hours and not so good hours.
My Mom is so tired but she refuses to rest.
None of us has a choice about how and when we come into this world and most often that’s the case when we make our exit as well.
“Life is eternal,
and love is immortal,
and death is only a horizon;
and a horizon is nothing
save the limit of our sight”
Rossiter Worthington Raymond
I love to see nature’s beauty reflected in a lake or pond. I pray your reflections contain enough beauty to get you through life’s difficult times. You and your family are in my daily prayers.

Beautiful calm feeling in that photo. Hopefully, such calmness will prevail through your parent’s twilight times. Best wishes Terry.
