In addition to power walking four to five mornings per week, I like to get out on photo walks.

These walks are leisurely strolls where I take my time and pay closer attention to what’s around me to photograph.

These tiny wildflower blossoms were in clusters on the plant. Each cluster was about 1/2 the size of my thumbnail. At first I thought they were marsh peas, but after more research, I’m not convinced of that.

Regardless of what they are, the deep purple of the blossoms is my favourite colour.

Taking all aspects of purple’s past and present into consideration, purple symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity, royalty – and it evokes all of these meanings more so than any other color”
