The macro lens I purchased for my iPhone never ceases to amaze me.

This entire cluster on a wildflower was no bigger than my small fingernail.

Because the lens picks up every minute detail, I did a wee bit of post processing to remove a microscopic string of a spider web. The web couldn’t be seen by the naked eye, but in the macro shot, distracted from the tiny flowers in the cluster.

My power walks bring so much more to my day than fresh air, exercise, and energy. Combining my walks with photography adds a much-loved hobby, creativity, and endless opportunities for learning. The walks have truly become the gift that keeps on giving in terms of overall health and well being.

“Sometimes the most beautiful things are in front of our eyes, and we don’t even notice because we’re either too busy or too afraid to take a closer look.”
