Finally, after several days of strong damaging winds, and heavy rainfall, I was able to get out for my pre-dawn to dawn power walk.

This morning, that meant I had to leave the house at 4:20 am, in order to catch both the quiet of morning twilight and the breaking of dawn. Because I’m an early to bed and early to rise kinda gal, this time of day isn’t an issue for me.

I loved that our Main Street was empty as I made my way towards my favourite trails along the river. I arrived at the riverside trails just in time to greet the new day.
