On a recent photo walk with my iPhone macro lens attached, I just had to shoot a caragana blossom again.
I believe I take photos of these flowers every spring.
My childhood home had a caragana hedge all along the front of the property.
My Dad invented a hedge trimmer that gave perfect level edges to the top and sides. Dad’s straight hedge was the talk of the town.
The hedge provided privacy and shelter to the yard and each spring, my siblings and I would pull apart a few blossoms to taste the sweet nectar at the base.
