This morning, I did my first sunrise power walk in several weeks.
The cooler temperatures at this time of day were deterring me, but after I got out there and got moving, I wondered what all of my fuss was about.
I took a new route through our city’s industrial area and came across a new walking path that’s being developed.
I liked how the rising sun lit up these spools in one of the yards at our wire and cable plant.
“There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope.”
Bernard Williams
The quote reminds me of how, if I was upset at something at night when growing up, my mother would say, “Everything will be better in the morning.” And I would think, “No, it won’t be! How can that be?” But, everything was always better the next morning. I enjoyed the shot of all the spools! Glad to hear a new walking path is being developed. You have lots of choices!

Thanks for stopping by and for your comment, Betty! Your Mother was absolutely right, and now that you mention it, I believe my Mom said something similar. We’re so fortunate that our small city continues to be very committed to developing and maintaining trails for the walkers, hikers, bikers, and runners. I’m happy you enjoyed the photo of the spools 😊 Have a great day!
