On a recent power walk through one of our city parks, I couldn’t help wondering how long the soccer fields will be waiting to see action again.

Due to COVID-19, there was no organized soccer last year, and things aren’t looking great again for this year.

Our province is hoping for a high percentage of people over the age 16 to have at least their first dose of vaccine by the end of May. Of course, this will depend on supply and willingness.

Just like the soccer pitch, we’re all waiting for something that resembles normal.

“Normal is nothing more than a cycle on a washing machine.”
