When hubs and I recently toured a couple of Regional Parks in our area, we stopped for a break beside a basketball court.
As I looked up at the basketball hoop, I thought about how many hoops we’ve been jumping through with Covid-19 precautions, in hopes of eventually regaining some semblance of what normal used to look like.
We’re certainly doing everything that’s required of us, up to and including me taking my epi-pen along for my first dose of the vaccine. I had been told by an allergist many years ago that I was highly allergic to vaccine preservatives.
Thankfully, I had no reaction.
This photo was rendered in HDR in addition to the original shot. I preferred the blown out bits of sky in the original, as it seemed to speak to me more about the mood I was trying to convey.
“I advise you to say your dream is possible and then overcome all inconveniences, ignore all the hassles and take a running leap through the hoop, even if it is in flames.”

Great photo. There are always hoops to jump through. I may need to write about the hoops I experience with cancer.

Thank you for your compliment on the photo and for your comment, Kristie. I can’t begin to imagine the number of hoops you experience. I hope you have a great day!
