I certainly got my steps in yesterday!
After my 6 Km morning power walk, hubs and I decided to head out for another impromptu drive to explore places near here that we’ve driven by, but have never stopped to check out.
We visited two regional parks about an hour from here, a large dam and power project in the same area, and a provincial historical site (that I’ve always been curious about) near that area. The stops involved lots of walking and even some climbing.
One of many big thrills yesterday was to find these crocuses in the wild. It’s rare to find these gems around here unless you’re out walking in a pasture. This is a sure sign of spring on the prairies.
I’ll hi–light the rest of what we saw yesterday over the next few days. How’s that for a “teaser”?
“A single crocus blossom ought to be enough to convince our heart that springtime, no matter how predictable, is somehow a gift, gratuitous, gratis, a grace”

I’m so jealous! They haven’t popped up around here yet and it’s snowing this morning…
We need the moisture so the snow is a welcome sight inspired of the fact it was up to 20C yesterday 😀

Even before I checked out your blog, I had a gut feeling you were a fellow Canadian. I also had a feeling you were nearby, possibly also in Sask. In this big country of ours, you’re in our neighbouring province , so you are nearby! Isn’t intuition funny sometimes? Thanks for the follow and I look forward to reading more of your posts, Nadine

Lol! Everyone tells us that we are in Saskatchewan because we are so far out!
I’m already enjoying your blog, thanks for following mine! I hope you enjoy it!
