I first discovered this path last summer. With all of the trees in leaf, it was dark and ominous. I remember my heart pounding in anticipation of what might be around each of the many curves. The unknown has such an effect on our imagination.
Since that day, I’ve walked this path many times and have come to appreciate how quiet and peaceful it is. I love how the gnarly brush adds character and interest.
I find that photographing different spots on this trail leads to much post-walk enjoyment and creativity through working with editing apps to try to capture the feeling of the area.

I like your point about using creativity to try and capture the feeling of the area. What a wonderful blessing creativity is! Enjoy your Sunday!

Thank you Betty! Yes, sometimes a photo will look “flat” to me, and just a few tweaks in an editing app can add the feeling I’m trying to convey. Happy Easter, if you celebrate it. If not, Happy Sunday!
