When my walking trails take me alongside the river, I often look at these weathered wooden remnants standing upright in the water and wonder what they are.
They’ve been there for as long as I can remember.
In the summer, the ducks and geese often gather at this spot to swim around these wooden objects, as if they were pylons in an obstacle course.

Lots of mysteries on your walks. I am still thinking about those lines in the middle of the river. Now this?

We asked several people about the single track on the river. The consensus was that it was possibly a current pushing up from below the surface. These wooden shards … I’m not sure of but am asking around. Have a great Thursday!

I was tempted to suggest a sunken boat, but then….perhaps not. Sometimes it’s good to ponder and wonder! Happy walking!

Thanks for stopping by and for your comment, Helene! I wondered about a part of a boat too.

You’re welcome. Yes it might well be a boat, I sometimes see them in the sea at low tides. I was a bit confused with the shape of yours though.
