Yesterday morning, I headed out for my power walk into a rare foggy late winter day.
Although a small river runs through our city, I wouldn’t have thought it had thawed enough to provide the humidity for the sometimes pea-soupy fog we saw most of the morning yesterday.
Regardless of what caused this rare late winter occurrence here, walking in it provided a unique feeling of quiet and solitude.
The original of this photo is colour. After editing to B/W, and comparing the two, the B/W seemed to more emphasize the mood.

Great picture! I especially like the contrast of the tall streetlight with its curvy lamp towering over the winter trees. Changing scenery makes our walks interesting! Enjoy your day!
