On a morning power walk a couple of days ago, I suddenly realized I didn’t need my ice cleats anymore. The trails were completely dry!
In addition, my toque, scarf, and mittens were making me feel a tad warmish. I could feel a big smile starting as I stopped to remove these items.
The excitement and joy of the anticipation of spring completely consumed me as I added an extra celebratory kilometre to my walk.
If there had been a tall flight of stairs at the finish, I envisioned myself running to the top and pumping my fists in the air like Rocky.
“Is the spring coming?” he said. “What is it like?”…
“It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine…”
~ Frances Hodgson Burnett
Here’s to Spring! I know it’s not here yet, but we are getting a sneak preview, too! Enjoy your day!

Thanks for stopping by and for your comment, Betty! It’s looking great here for the next while, so hopefully our groundhog was right this year when he predicted early spring😊 Have a great day!

That’s a great image of you! ❤️ I can imagine how great it is for you as I was so happy to see the sun this week and it doesn’t get nearly as cold in Florida. 😊

Nope – we’re still living in a snow globe here in eastern ontario – but oh, it’s great to hear of temp changes elsewhere! Enjoy.

Thanks for your comment, Heather! Here in Southern Sask, the snow is almost gone, but we didn’t have much to begin with this winter. Have a great day!
