The late morning sun cast some great shadows on the river boardwalk.
Even though this has turned out to be a mild winter here for outdoor power walking, I’m longing for the days where I don’t have to don all of the winter gear just to get out for my walks.
How wonderful it will be to just head out the door, unburdened by the layers of clothes, the ice cleats, and the necessary weather checks to see how I need to dress.
“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome”
~ Anne Bradstreet
It’s 40 degrees where I am today. I got out for a good walk and tried to avoid the puddles where I could. The fresh air and sunshine was wonderful.

Love all the lines and the shadows. I like the white “stripes” left by the melting snow. Looks like it was a good day to walk!
