On yesterday’s sunrise power walk, I saw three people ahead of me on the path.
It’s unusual for me to see anyone on the trails at this time of day. I didn’t have a mask with me, but I was wearing a scarf.
As I caught up to them, I pulled my scarf over my mouth and nose. I noticed that as they heard me approaching, they also pulled their scarves up, and as I passed them, they all stepped far off the path.
We all waved at each other instead of speaking. This was Covid Courtesy at its finest.
As I completed the last leg of 6.87K (4.26 miles) of power walking, I smiled at the thought of these folks knowing and doing what it takes to make everyone feel safer.
“Courtesy costs nothing, but buys everything.”
~ Hazrat Ali ibn Abu-Talib A.S
Wonderful! It looks like the sun was coming out in the picture. That’s another good thing! Enjoy your day today!

Yes, the sun was just breaking the horizon as I got to this point on the path. Thanks for stopping by and for your comment, Betty! I hope your day is great too 😊
