I snapped this photo on a quick stop on one of the many bridges on my walking trails.
I was looking to get a unique perspective rather than my usual long shot of the river.
I don’t check any photos until after I get home, as I don’t want too long of a disruption from my walking pace.
Most of my photos end up being deleted. That’s one of the many joys of digital/iPhone photography. I usually keep just one or two if they show what I was going for in the snap. If I haven’t been successful in that, I keep just one as a reminder to return to that spot and try again.
In this photo, I unintentionally caught so many more elements than just the different perspective I was looking for.
I love it when a photo holds surprises.
“There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.”
~ Ansel Adams
I do the same thing – take many photos and then delete all but a couple. I look at them on my chrome book before deciding as the photo is larger, and I can see it better. Great photo; I like the strong lines. And an awesome quote by Ansel Adams.
